Last year I made these bottles of pink rose cordial from the many sweetly scented roses in my garden. We used it for everything from pouring over ice cream to mixing with gin and having with lemonade, it’s so versatile. This year I’ve left the roses alone because they make the perfect backdrop to where we’ve put the little pool this year, so I’ll be harvesting lots of elderflowers this week instead, I’m probably going to try making elderflower wine too!
